I am an Associate Professor at the Centre for Machine Intelligence and Data Science (C-MInDS), IIT Bombay. My research lies at the intersection of machine learning and optimization, with a primary focus on Riemannian optimization, optimal transport, geometric methods for deep learning, and their applications in modern AI systems.

My journey in AI spans both academia and industry. Before returning to academia, I solved large-scale problems at Microsoft and Amazon, experiences that continue to inform my research on efficient and scalable algorithms. I hold a Ph.D. and B.Tech from IIT Bombay and completed my postdoctoral studies at Saarland University in Germany.
